Le Grand Mint’s new project is a fusion of classic and contemporary elements to highlight the great work behind each product while always looking to the future.

Designed by Rome-based Italian designer Carmen Testa and commissioned by LGM, the ingots reflect the ancient iconography of the Italian deity known as Fors Fortuna, worshipped in a sacellum on the right bank of the Tiber.

In the Middle Ages, Fortune was often depicted next to a wheel and blindfolded to emphasize its capriciousness. Here it is reinterpreted in a modern key, transforming the wheel into the Le Grand Mint coat of arms.

There is a pattern in the background, but if you look closely you can read Le Grand Mint’s initials LGM in three dimensions.
