New from the Perth Mint is this limited mintage silver bullion coin with a Chinese themed design honoring the dragon and phoenix, both symbolic in nature. This special edition comes colored and gilded. Moreover, this is the first coin in the series!

The dragon and the phoenix are considered sacred in Chinese culture, as the embodiment of the Emperor and Empress. They also represent yin and yang, male and female. The beasts on the coin almost appear to be battling each other, representing the inner struggles we all face.
